My Photography Journey

Hey there! My name is Kaylie, and wedding photography is my passion. Photography has been my full-time career for the past eight years, starting with capturing the tiniest details of newborns. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with photographing families, and soon after, weddings became a natural extension of that love.

Today, I’m honored to still capture both families and weddings, weaving together the stories of life’s most precious moments. Rooted in the Carolinas, I draw inspiration from the rugged beauty of the mountains and the connections that make every family and couple unique.

My approach blends tranquility with joy, ensuring your experience is as meaningful as the images you’ll cherish forever. Whether it’s a wedding day or a family milestone, I’m here to preserve the memories that matter most.

my philosophy

As a candid documentary-style wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing the genuine moments that make your day uniquely yours. From laughter and tears to unscripted joy, I’m there to quietly witness it all.

With an intuitive sense for the energy in the room, I’ll adapt to whatever you need—whether it’s giving you a breather, calming a lively bridal suite, or catching your best man’s epic dance floor backflip.

It’s a privilege to document one of the most important days of your life, preserving heartwarming memories that bring the love and joy of your wedding day rushing back every time you revisit your album.

this is me

  • I’m a mama to three incredible kids.

  • Coffee runs through my veins 100% of the time.

  • My husband and I are passionate about homeschooling our children, and love teaching them life skills and how to run businesses.

  • We own a small hobby farm in the Upstate, and we have bunnies, chickens, 2 mini horses, a goat, 2 dogs, and a cat.

  • I love baking for the family and always have the kids up on the counter learning to cook beside me.

  • My husband of 10 years is my rock. Always supportive and loving, he helps make our home a place of peace and joy.

  • I have a vegetable garden, but lack a green thumb, so we easily get excited over small harvests and always find joy in the little things.
